“Pressure washing” gets used as a catch-all, but there are really two methods — and choosing the wrong one can crack siding, strip paint, or force water where it shouldn’t go. Here’s the difference.
Pressure washing
High-pressure water blasts away dirt, mud, and stains from hard, durable surfaces: concrete driveways, sidewalks, patios, brick, and some decks. It’s fast and powerful — exactly what tough surfaces need.
Soft washing
Soft washing uses low pressure plus eco-friendly cleaning solutions to safely clean delicate surfaces: vinyl and painted siding, stucco, wood, and roofs. The solution does the work of killing algae and mildew at the source, so you get a deeper, longer-lasting clean without the risk of damage.
The simple rule
If a surface is hard and can take a beating, pressure washing is usually right. If it’s delicate or painted, it needs soft washing. The good news: you don’t have to guess. We choose the correct method for every surface on your property, so nothing gets damaged and everything comes out clean.
